Here’s an idea that can’t miss. Next time you plan on running your mouth at a political speech, exercising your constitutionally-protected speech, or being a minority, make sure you grab your nifty “energy weapon protection device”.

A patent filed by Gregory Russell Schultz describes a jacket that uses thin layers of conductive and non-conductive panels to create a complete electrical circuit designed to protect the wearer from taser shocks.

But don’t go running away with green-peace just yet–you’re still going to get stabbed through the skin by sharp metal barbs:

While this variation of the invention does not offer the same opposition to the penetration of the barbs of a penetrating energy weapon, it does offer the same prevention of electrical charge transfer.

Fantastic. And that’s if they don’t just shoot you with a real gun.
