Where Are Your Papers?

Constitutional Congress

The narrator’s over-the-top McGruff voice aside, this video is pretty astonishing.

An innocent woman is not allowed to pass through a check-point then arrested for not showing identification after no probable cause of any crime (which the police freely admit).

I can’t imagine what our founders would have thought if they knew this is what their country would end up turing into.

My favorite part is the end, when the cops sift through the reading-material in her car, stumped on whether or not it IT IS ILLEGAL.

Thank god our court system is still somehow able to function. When the situation is reviewed by smarter people, all charges are dropped.

  1. Wait a minute…officer doffy wasn’t at the constitutional congress. I’m beginning to question the legitimacy of this site.

  2. uh… shouldn’t “God” be capitalized?

  3. TasedBro will have to consult our ethics and standards department on that one. Not sure what they do on that computer all day, but as long as they don’t end up on Dateline, we’re fine with it.
